These are great little scrubbers for use in the kitchen when one lets something burn in the bottom of a pan. They will leave scratch marks on some materials. So, one must be careful where one uses them. However, they are great for things like toaster oven drop pans, unpolished stainless steel woks, etc. When combined with Camei stainless or aluminum cleaning powder, they make cleaning tough stains a breeze.

These are my go to kitchen all purpose sponge. My mother, grandmother, and now I have used these sponges in our kitchens since I can remember. They last quite awhile. However if you do not wring them out of have a spot for them to drain, they will get slimy and hold that moldy mildew smell.
