What I needed for my attic door. Toddler life in this house. It’s held up to them trying to yank the door open pretty much twice a day, so…effective. Obviously use longer screws for a stronger latch. The shorter screws will pop it right out of the wood with a strong adult pull.

I purchased this to use as a lock for my bedroom door.It was very easy to install-a one person job w/ an electric screwdriver/drill.Lock seems pretty durable.I have noticed that the lock sticks a little bit sometimes…but I think that is just the nature of this type of lock.Would purchase again.
